CrossFit Stafford Rules

  1. Arrive early and be ready to do the WOD on time.  DON’T WAIT to be told to warm-up, start warming up as soon as you arrive. Stick around after and encourage others.
  2. Get your own weights to lift.  When you are done, put them away.  
  3. Don’t Cheat.  If you need to “scale” a WOD reduce the reps or load.  Be honest with yourself and the coach.
  4. Go heavy, go faster or go home.  The only way to get better is to increase resistance (weight) or push yourself faster.  Strive to do more, faster!
  5. Workout hard or workout elsewhere.  We are here to get results.
  6. Be respectful and polite.  Everyone here is a member of our CrossFit Stafford family.
  7. Don’t expect immediate results. (See Rule #4)
  8. Worry about how you perform, not how you look.
  9. Coaches are here to Coach.  If you want someone to do homework for you, hire a personal trainer!
  10. Never use the word Can’t!  If you can’t do it, go somewhere else and try.
  11. Don’t Quit!  Ever!
  12. You, the athlete, are responsible for your own fitness, health and safety.   Pull back if you aren’t comfortable.  Tell the coach.  Be smart. 
  13.  Leave your problems at the door.  Make this your time to focus on improving the one thing you can always change – YOU!
  14. Pay your dues on time.  So we can continue making our Box better!
  15. Have fun!
