CrossFit Stafford 2nd Annual Polar Plunge is on!



Rain or shine meet at the box at 1300 1 Jan, 2012 and carpool down to Aquia Landing Beach Park in Stafford County, VA. We want to raise 300lbs of PB& J for SERVE this year.  Last year we raised 250lbs.  Again this year, we ask each person to bring 10 jars of PB/Jelly or a combo of both. 

S.E.R.V.E. began its mission to help others in the communityback in 1979. The need lives on...and is growing at a fast-paced rate.  Yourhelp means so much to those who are in need. We are here to offer a hand up tothose who are in need of one. We offer financial and food pantry assistance. We also offer budgeting and financial planning classes, basic computer skills and job employment skills. We know that these skills are empowering. 

Mission:  To encourage individuals and groups to work together to alleviate local human suffering by meeting the emergency needs of individuals and families who are experiencing financial crisis, and to promote programs to help individuals become more self-sufficient. 

Action:  S.E.R.V.E. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving Stafford, Spotsylvania, Caroline, and King George counties, and the city of Fredericksburg in Virginia.

Food donations are ALWAYS accepted at our Food Pantry,Mondays & Wednesdays 10:00-2:30, Tuesdays & Thursdays 11:00-4:30, or by appointment at:

England Run Library
all Giant stores in Stafford County
Fredericksburg Park & Shop Giant
Present & Past - Chatham Heights S/C

They are always in need of volunteers to help promote S.E.R.V.E. and work in their Food Pantry and with many of other programs.
